The students of the first generation of “TOBITATE! Young Ambassador Program” reported the result of their study in Taiwan

As the students of the first generation of “High school course of TOBITATE Young Ambassador Program”, Miss. Maika Otani, Miss. Mihori Matsuno, and Miss. Yume Fujiwara who are 3rd-year students of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, were studying at National United University of Taiwan.

They reported the result of their study at the university on September 25th, the last day of their study in Taiwan.

Each student can design a flexible study-abroad program based on their own ideas at “TOBITATE Young Ambassador Program”. Each of those three students also designed their own study abroad plan and learned English or Chinese at school in Australia or Taiwan for 3 to 5 weeks before they began to study at National United University of Taiwan.

After their own language study, they were assigned to each laboratory at National United University of Taiwan. They studied about the development of waste disposal or cosmetic products at the laboratory of the Department of Chemical Engineering at National United University of Taiwan.

The debriefing session was held and each student delivered a presentation about the study of the development of cosmetic product utilizing foods in English. They also answered all questions in English.

After they came back to Japan, they all remarked on their studying abroad as below.

“We could know different culture. Also we enjoyed going out to eat after school, and going traveling on weekends. We had such fascinating studying abroad.”
