2students of the Advanced Course of Business Administration Engineering made a report of their research at United University in Taiwan

On April 30th, 2016, “The Conference on Advanced Management and Industry Trends” was held at United University in Taiwan. Mr. Akihiko Fukunaga (the 2nd grade) and Miss. Airi Kawasaki (the 3rd grade), the students of the advanced course of Business Administration Engineering, made a report of their research at the conference.

Recently, corporate managements are facing the huge changing economic environment on a worldwide basis, and have various issues. This conference argues the issues for the purpose of science and the development of industry. At the same time, people who are learning management from various countries can learn together and directly interact with each other. There were a business administration section, a financial and monetary affairs section, and information section at this conference, and each section had 17 sessions, and people discussed actively at each session.

This was the first time for Ube Kosen to participate this conference. Mr. Fukunaga and Miss. Kawasaki made a report in English with the theme “Regression Analysis of International Tourism Demand”, and “The Effect regarded to COO effects about direct inward investment to Japan-The case of Korean Cosmetic Industry”.

There were 120 people participating including students and teachers at this conference, but Mr. Fukunaga and Miss. Kawasaki were the only Japanese students who made a report. They showed potential of contribution to as a part of the development of the management field focusing on Asia.

On the next day of the conference, Mr. Fukunaga and Miss. Kawasaki had a chance to talk to the students of United University in Taiwan who came to Ube Kosen for short-term study program at the department of Business Administration last year. They talked about the progress of their researches after they went back to Taiwan, and the differenced of each school. Also Mr. Fukunaga and Miss. Kawasaki explained the curriculum of Ube Kisen to who want to come to Ube Kosen to study.

We will continue to promote meaningful academic exchange for the students of both schools in the future.
