From National United University in Taiwan (Miaoli Country, Miaoli City), Mr. Tung-Hu Tsai, the president of National United University in Taiwan, Ms. Shug-june Hwang, the dean of academic affairs, and Ms. Li-Chi Chiang, the head of the office of International Exchange Section, visited Ube Kosen on December 15th, 2016.
Ube Kosen has concluded an academic exchange agreement with this University.

Mr. Tung-Hu Tsai has become president of National United University in Taiwan since last August. This visiting was for making an inaugural address and discussing exchanging between the two schools from now on.
Ube Kosen has accepted short-term exchange students from National United University in Taiwan on June and July since last year. The students practice teaching Chinese, experiment and have practical training with Ube Kosen students at each major’s laboratory.
Also about 10 students from Ube Kosen visit National United University in Taiwan during spring and summer vacation learning Chinese or experimenting and having practical training with the students of National United University in Taiwan.
In the meeting with Mr.Tung-Hu Tsai, we discussed accepting long-term students with each other, working as a contact point for exchange between other Kosen and universities in Taiwan, and holding an education exchange event once every two years.
Exchange between the two schools will be deeper and deeper from now on.
