National Institute of Technology held “Kosen Forum in Vietnam” at Melia Hanoi Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

National Institute of Technology started to promote Kosen education system targeting to Mongolia, Thailand and Vietnam as an overseas expanding project in 2016.

Ube Kosen joined this project to support Vietnam in 2017 as a lead of Kosen schools. Also, Hakodate, Tsuruoka, Gifu, Tokuyama and Ariake Kosen participate in this project.

As Vietnamese Government, Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), Ministry of labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and others agreed to support the project in 2018, we were able to start the project officially. So that we organized the forum for people did not know well what Kosen was like in Vietnam, and hoped the forum would provide better understanding of Kosen.

Many people joined the forum such as Vice Minister at Ministry of Labour, Invalid and Social affairs, Le Quan, MP D. Sc. Vu Kahi, presidents from various industrial colleges and others from Vietnamese side, and Ambassador Kunio Umeda, Minister Katsuro Nagai and Japanese corporations from Japanese side.
