Why did you decide to come to Japan for study abroad?

After I graduated from junior high school in Cameroon, I was looking for a good place to study. Then, one of my friends who has lived in Japan told me that Japan was the best place to study. So I decided to take a test to study abroad in Japan, and I was selected by God’s grace!

Why did you choose UBE KOSEN?

I have been interested in chemistry, so I chose chemical engineering as my major and chose UBE KOSEN because it has the department of chemical and biological engineering.

How is your school life?

At the dorm room.

I joined UBE KOSEN as a 3rd-year student in the department of chemical and biological engineering from this April. It was not easy for me to live in a foreign country which has a different language and culture at the beginning, but my teachers, friends and classmates always help me whenever I face with a difficulty and I am getting used to school life in Ube now. I also live in a dorm and it’s really fun to live with the other foreign students and Japanese students. They also help me a lot.

What is your dream in the future?

I’m happy to be able to study in this school. I learn lots of things. After I graduate, I want to go to an university and get a job in Japan. In the future, I will go back to Cameroon with knowledge of chemistry and technology. I want to contribute to my home country’s development.
