On December 12th, 2015, “Go Global! Study Abroad Fair 2015 in Nagasaki” was held at Nagasaki University and 28 of students and their parents who are interested in study abroad attended the fair from Ube Kosen.
Go Global Japan (GGJ) West Japan’s 2nd block holds this Study Abroad Fair as a part of adopted projects of “Super Global Universities Project(GGJ) – Development global human resources which lead development of economic society” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology.
This fair is held in many parts of the nation to give information or answer questions about study abroad.
This time, the contents of the fair were presenting going on to global universities, introducing study abroad by public agencies in the United States, Europe, and Asia, and about “TOBITATE! Young Ambassador Program”.

Also, at the fair, the students who were selected as a students of “TOBITATE! Young Ambassador Program” and studied abroad gave their presentations. From Ube Kosen, Miss. Maika Otani, 3rd grade of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering gave a presentation.

The students who attended this fair could know how to apply for “TOBITATE! Young Ambassador Program”. Also they could learn about the purpose of study abroad, choosing the destination to study abroad, costs, scholarship, and procedures.
Moreover, Mr. Tetsuya Yasukochi, the teacher of Toshin High School gave a lecture titled “Learn English and Spread your wings around the world from Kyushu and Yamaguchi!” The students could learn the purpose of study abroad, and how to study English. It was a great opportunity for the students to feel something familiar to study abroad through this fair.
