A language training at Singapore Polytechnic is a program which is mainly for lower grade’s students. It is hoped that an overseas experience from lower grade can increase in motivation of learning English, and promote the students’ interest and understanding of overseas. Also students who join the training can join another overseas training program or an overseas internship in the upper grades. That means they can have lots of overseas exposures while in school.

The lessons were unique to Singapore and they were not bound by standard for a classroom. The lessons were incorporated discussions, presentations, fieldtrips, and volunteer activities. The students who joined the training stay at a dormitory in high school, and went to school by public bus. They had a fulfill training there.
