7 students of the 1st grade, 6 students of the 2nd grade, 1 student of the 3rd grade, and 1 student of the 5th grade of Ube Kosen joined the overseas study at Yeungjin College and Daegu Gyeongbuk English village for 10days from March 5th to 15th.
This spring study in Korea is for lower grade students to give an intercultural study of learning English and Korean culture. All the students stayed at a dormitory at English Village. The condition for the students to get training was great. Two students shared one room and each room had a Korean stove under the floor. Also, each meal was buffet-style.
At the English Village, All the native teachers are certified as an English teacher by Colorado State University.

In an English lesson.
The lessons here, the students could learn English in various situation, such as at a restaurant, inside an airplane, at a homestay, and at a drugstore. The students had lessons all day, and the end of the day, they had review time with the native teachers.

Also, the students had many chances to exchange with Korean students, and the contents of the Korean cultural study was productive. They studied Hangul letters, tried on Korean traditional cloth called Chima Jeogori, had a sports event, and operated drone.

We will continue to have a language study (in spring and summer), and an academic study (in summer) from now on.
