On Friday, May 23, 2025, four faculty members visited our school from one of our overseas training partners, Yeungjin College in South Korea. The delegation included two specialized instructors in the fields of hospitality, aviation, and tourism, one representative teacher from the English Village, and one native English-speaking instructor. Their meeting with Principal Kanedera served as a valuable opportunity to further strengthen future international exchange.
Thanks to the close relationship with Yeungjin College, further expansion of overseas training opportunities is expected in the future. In addition, the English Village has been very well received by students as a destination for the spring language training program aimed at lower-grade students.

This time, since a native English-speaking instructor visited our school, an opportunity was provided for students to ask questions about actual classroom practices. It served as a valuable chance for students to consider studying abroad. Although some students were unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict with the class match, those who participated made the most of the short time by actively asking questions, making it a meaningful experience in international exchange.

Exchange with native English-speaking teachers

Ube National College of Technology will continue to aim for the development of globally minded engineers by providing both outbound and inbound exchange opportunities.
