Tobitate! (Leap for Tomorrow) Study Abroad Initiative is a study abroad promotion program conducted by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) as part of its global human resource development efforts. Unlike the study-abroad programs offered directly by the Ube National College of Technology, this initiative allows students to design their own training programs overseas.

The participating student shared their enthusiasm, saying: “From September 1, for 17 days, I will explore soccer in Sweden through the Tobitate! Study Abroad Initiative. I am grateful for this opportunity and will fully dedicate myself each day, valuing the people I meet and the connections I make.”

One of the key attractions of the Tobitate! Study Abroad Initiative is the chance to tackle challenges in a different environment through perspectives distinct from those applied in daily life.

At Ube Kosen, we are committed to supporting students who take on challenges they identify themselves, including those participating in the Tobitate! (Leap for Tomorrow) Study Abroad Initiative.
