Dr. Juri and Dr. Syahar from MARA University of Technology which we signed a MOU with visited Ube Kosen on October 24th, 2019.
Mr. Yuki Yamada (2nd year of Advanced Course of Production Systems Engineering) and Mr. Tomoaki Watada (1st year of Advanced Course of Production Systems Engineering), who have been learning under Prof. Goto of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, studied at Dr. Juri’s office in the Department of Mechanical Engineering for three months for two consecutive years.
We will use the Mara University of Technology facilities to do some experiments of Mr. Watada’s special research as a new challenge in this year, and that will proceed our plan which is to lead joint research as that Prof. Goto and faculties in the same specialized field of Mara University of Technology supervise Mr. Watada.
The meeting with Principal Yamakawa went through in a friendly manner and Dr. Juri asked to accept his students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Mara University of Technology to study at Ube Kosen. Prof. Goto explained the joint research plan of using a study abroad program for Advanced students.
We expect that exchange activities among the faculties of Mara University of Technology, advanced course international students, and faculties of Ube Kosen will expand more in the future.
