On May 24th, 2016, a visiting lecture was held by Yamaguchi Local Finance Offices of Ministry of Finance for 1st graders of the department of Business Administration. We invited Mr. Hiroshi Itaya, a head of financial division of Yamaguchi Local Finance Offices, Chugoku Local Finance Bureau, Ministry of Finance, as a teacher. Mr. Itaya gave a lecture titled “Our daily life and Finance”.

At Yamaguchi Local Finance Offices of Ministry of Finance makes efforts to send a teacher to schools for giving lectures about finance bureau’s work such as financial administration or finance as part of regional contribution activities. That’s why they came to our school this time and gave a lecture at the department of Business Administration.

In the lecture, Mr. Itaya explained clearly about relation between our daily life and finance, using handouts. He also introduced the description of job at Chugoku Local Finance Bureau. The department of Business Administration combines humanities and sciences, so some students of the department wish to get a job at financial institutions such as a bank, or to work as a public employee. Therefore, it was a fruitful lecture.
