10 interns of the department of mechanical engineering at Yeungjin College in Daegu, Korea visited Ube Kosen from January 10th to 20th, 2017. Ube Kosen and Yeungjin College have concluded an agreement for academic exchange.

The interns who came to Ube Kosen are in the class for getting a job at Japanese companies, and the most of them have already got an official job offer from Japanese company. During the 10 days training, the interns attended an intermediate Japanese language class, attended a laboratory teaching at the department of mechanical engineering, made a song using IT, and had a presentation of their research. Also they had a chance to observe companies in Yamaguchi and learn Japanese culture and custom such as experiencing a culture of Yamaguchi (Ouchi culture).

The training was only for 10 days, but had a good reputation from the students of Ube Kosen, and also they had a chance to learn Korean language and Korean culture from the interns.

Students of Ube Kosen are going to visit Yeungjin College in 2 months for training. This training will be also only for 10 days and they will experience different cultures and learned English there. We hope that this interaction will become meaningful for each other’s students.
