On March 29th, Mr. Seamus Fagan, the director of English Language & Foundation Studies Centre of Newcastle University, visited Ube Kosen. Newcastle University and Ube Kosen has concluded an academic exchange agreement.

Our agreement was concluded in 2003, and since then, many students have joined a language study. Last July, 8 students of the department of technology, Newcastle University visited Ube Kosen to have a workshop and stay with Japanese family. Also, 15 students of the regular course joined a language study at the Language Center of Newcastle University in summer.

At this Mr. Seamus Fagan’s visiting, he confirmed maintain our good relationship and engaged in give-and-take with Mr. Mitani, the president of Ube Kosen, about our development of exchange from now on.
