24 interns of the department of mechanical engineering at Yeungjin College visiting Ube Kosen

24 interns of the department of mechanical engineering at Yeungjin College in Daegu, Korea visited Ube Kosen from October 30th to November 12th. Ube Kosen and Yeungjin College have been concluded an agreement for academic exchange.

The interns who came to Ube Kosen are in the class for getting a job at Japanese companies, and the most of them have already got an official job offer from Japanese companies. During the 2 weeks training, they joined a lecture of Business Japanese language, lectures at the department of mechanical engineering, and experienced programming training at Advanced Course. Also they visited SHIN KASADO DOCKYARD, and Yanai power station of The Chugoku Electric Power Co.,Inc. Moreover, they experienced calligraphy as a Japanese cultural training, they played table tennis and badminton with 5th grade students of the department of Mechanical Engineering as a sport exchange, and had a group work with the students of 2nd grade of the department of Business Administration. They talked about revitalization of Tokiwa Park.

It was only 2 weeks staying in Japan, but the student from Yeungjin College could spend lots of time with Japanese students, and deepen exchanges with Japan and Korea. Ube Kosen will contribute to globalization of both our school and community through interaction with our overseas partner universities.
