We have 2 Chinese practicum students from National United University (Miaoli City) which we signed MOU with.
Ms. Zhong Shao Tong and Ms. Huang Wan Yu are both 3rd year of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature. When our 4th and 5th year students had Chinese class, they joined the class to assist the teacher and taught students some part of the class.

4 Kosen schools (Anan, Tsuyama, Niihama and Ube) accept practicum students as a collaborated project, and this is our 4th year to accept Chinese practicum students from Taiwan.

They also teach Chinese to our students, who will visit Taiwan for training in this summer, after school.
They joined “The 2nd NIT-NUU Japanese Taiwan International conference” which was held in Okayama on July 21 and July 22 as assistants.
Associate Professor, Ms. Mu-Hsuan Chou from Foreign Language Instruction at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages came to visit her students who had been visiting to Ube Kosen since this April.

Message from Ms. Zhong Shao Tong
My name is Zhong Shao Tong. I came from Yilan, Taiwan. I am the 3rd year of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at National United University. Luckily I could come to Ube Kosen as a practicum student. I would like to find out how I teach Chinese and what my issues are through this practical. I would like to gain teaching experiences more in the future, and become a Chinese teacher who can be admired by students. This practicum gave me opportunities to learn different culture from Taiwan. It would be nice to have experiences of Japanese life style and beautiful sceneries like Japanese drama I watched.
Message from Ms. Huang Wan Yu
I am Huang Wan Yu, came from Pingtung, Taiwan. I am the 3rd year of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at National United University. As it was my dream to study in overseas and do internship, I am very happy to be able to come to Ube Kosen and proud of myself. My goals on this practicum are to know what Japanese students find difficult to learn Chinese and to understand teaching skills by following Professor Mr. Hatamura’s method. I would like to have some experiences of authentic Japanese culture, lifestyle, and upgrade my Japanese abilities and teaching skills.
