We had visitors from Singapore Republic Polytechnic (“RP”), which we singed MOU with, on Tuesday afternoon, May 22/ 2018.
Principal Mr. Yeo Li Pheow and 3 other teachers had a meeting with President Mr. Mitani, Prof. Hatamura (head of international exchange office) and Assoc. Prof. Misawa (contact person for Singapore in the international student exchange office).
Meeting in the president office
The purpose of visit was to increase contacts of Kosen. They also thought it was possible to have a special exchange between Ube Kosen and RP as both had Business Administration Course. We discussed about possibilities on faculty member’s joint research and educational cooperation like PBL, Active learning.

After the meeting, they visited Prof. Fujita (Mechanical Engineering Dep) and Assoc. Prof. Nomoto (Chemical and Biological Engineering Dep) office. These professors explained what their current researches were.
