Our Student Ambassador (SA) organized a cross-cultural experience tour to Miyajima on Saturday, November 19, 2022. A total of 53 students (international students including short-term international students and Japanese students) joined the tour.
They separated into 8 groups mixing Japanese and international students and moved around with the group member. They introduced each other before the trip and they decided where to go for meals and tourist spots based on international student’s requests.

There were many tourists in Miyajima because it was the beautiful scenery time as leaves changed color to red. So Japanese students had a very hard time guiding the international students where they wanted to go.

After they left Miyajima, they went to Hofu Tenmangu Shrine on their way home and prayed for international exchange activity success.
It seemed to be a good opportunity for particularly short-term international students to learn Japanese culture.
