We conducted language training at Singapore Polytechnic from Monday, August 21, 2023 to Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Fifteen students joined the training (six students from 1st year, five students from 2nd year, and four students from 3rd year).

The training program provided by Singapore Polytechnic was named “Cross Cultural Communication”. The program content had not only English classes but Singapore history/ cultures, food, Singlish, etc. so that students could learn and understand more about Singapore. Students mainly learned how to make speeches in the classroom, but also they visited a museum, a botanical museum, Sentosa Island, Chinatown, etc. as activities outside the classroom. Students had an assignment to interview locals and tourists at places they visited. During the training, Singapore Polytechnic students volunteered to support our students’ classes and daily life.
