On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the International Exchange Division hosted a welcome party for 10 short-term international students who enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 2026. The event aimed to foster friendships between international and Japanese students and encourage the former to develop a deeper interest in Japan.

Approximately 30 individuals, including Japanese and long-term international students, attended the event. To facilitate social interaction, the organizers held a game called “English Word Chain.” Participants were divided into groups to play the game, which included casual group play and a team-based competition. The activity sparked lively interaction within the groups, allowing everyone, including Japanese students who were not confident in English and international students who were not yet accustomed to using Japanese, to enjoy themselves.
