Ten students who were accepted to “TOBITATE! Study Abroad Initiative for high-school students” visited the president on Thursday, June 3. They reported their acceptance and made a presentation to the president.
President Yamakawa congratulated the acceptance and he said that ten students acceptance was the greatest number among Kosen schools, also Ube Kosen was the fifth from the top number among all Japanese high-schools. He also gave some suggestions for the preparations before they go overseas such as finding out what they want to learn is like in Japan in order to research in other countries, obtaining information that is a benefit to the other party as everything is give-and-take.。
It was originally planned to go overseas this summer, but it was postponed to sometime after next spring. The students will work hard toward the next year, for when the COVID 19 pandemic settles, by learning foreign languages, participating in international exchange activities at school.

I am curious if it was popular indeed in Korea that what was popular in Japan. If so, I want to research how long and when they were popular in Korea by asking local secondary students and university students. I would like to use this opportunity to learn my favorite K-POP better as it is the best chance.
