The fifth NIT-NUU Japan Taiwan International Conference was held online on Thursday, September 8/ 2022 (school in charge: National United University, cooperate school: Tsuyama Kosen). There were 8 students and 2 faculty staff (7 were for oral presentation and 3 were for poster presentation) joined by Ube Kosen.

The purpose of the NIT- NUU Japan Taiwan International Conference is to interact academically through that students and faculty staff of Taiwan National United University and Kosen (area of Chugoku/Shikoku, the fourth block) make research presentations. The presentation was done face-to-face until 2019, but it was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This year, we held the online conference followed by last year.

The conference was separated into 7 sessions (Mechanical/Energy Engineering, Chemistry/Biochemistry/Materials, Information Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture/Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering, Management, Linguistics/Language Education/Culture) and there were oral presentations and poster presentations in English. In the question-and-answer session after the presentations, they had discussions and exchanged the opinions energetically. It is scheduled to have the sixth conference at Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture (school in charge: Niihama Kosen) in 2023.
