Prof. Mitani Yoshihiro, the Department of Intelligent System Engineering, introduced his research and Kosen at the International Partner Lecture Series organized by MARA University of Technology, Malaysia on February 24, 2021. At the International Partner Lecture Series, presidents and researchers who belong to organizations that signed an MOU with MARA University of Technology in Malaysia provide a lecture online as per a request made from the MARA University of Technology. Prof. Mitani gave a lecture of the title “Pattern Recognition and Image Processing”. He explained the basics of image processing and pattern recognition that was his specialized research. Also, he explained how difficult to have pattern recognition with image processing technology as well as under the situation with fewer samples by using real images. Further, he introduced the application of these technologies to medical images and recent graduation research.
