文芸部は、今年度始めた新たな取り組みとして、毎週月曜日の放課後、長期留学生の日本語文章作成のサポート活動をしています。10月からは、マレーシア・マラ工科大学からの短期留学生を対象に、様々な日本の文化を紹介しています。
10月以降に行った活動は、以下の通りです。

昨年最後の活動となった12月19日（月）には、日本の正月の遊びを紹介した後、グループに分かれて「いろはかるた」の紹介をしました。
活動では、かるたの基本的な遊び方、文字札に書かれてある日本のことわざとその意味を英語で説明しました。

説明をする際には、現代ではあまり使わない語彙やことわざが表す意味を解説するのに苦労している様子でした。結局は文字札の説明で終了時間となってしまい、遊ぶことは叶いませんでしたが、参加者にとっては良い経験となったようです。
文芸部は、クラブの活動の1つとして、今後もこうした国際交流を行っていきます。

文芸部は今年度4月から、長期留学生への文章作成サポート、10月からはマラ工科大学の学生への日本語サポート、日本文化の紹介に取り組んでいます。
活動としては日本の小説の一節を読んで平仮名の読み書きを覚える、けん玉、お手玉、カルタや百人一首の体験、習字の体験などと、文化アクティビティが主体で、楽しくスムーズな交流をしています。
また、この週1度の交流の中で得たものは多く、特に、日本の文化を教える過程で、今まで自分も知らなかった日本の文化について知ることができたこと、留学生から故郷の文化や言葉について日本と似ている点や留学生の故郷の特有の点などを知り、海外の文化に触れることが出来たことの2点は普段から得られるものではなく、文芸部員としても、一人の学生としてもとても良い経験になっています。
これからも国内海外問わず、様々な活動に参加して、自分なりに新たな発見をしていきたいと思います。
Nur Azwa Hanim Binti Azizan（マラ工科大学からの短期留学生）
Konichiwa! I’m Azwa, an exchange student from Malaysia for research attachment and cultural exchange program. As a part of the program, the Global Literature Club invited us for club activity every Monday.
The first class was held on 31 October 2022, where the club members and all of the exchange students made a self-introduction in Nihongo and Bahasa Melayu. Lead by Kakinoma sensei, the club members also taught us Hiragana by reading through a few paragraph from I Am A Cat novel written by Natsume Soseki. The following week activities were ineffably fun as we were introduced to Shoudo/Shujin, a Japanese calligraphy and also Karuta, a card game which involved Japanese proverb.
The initiative taken by the Global Literature Club actually opens a space for the local and international student to socialise and explore into other country culture through literature. While having fun and socializing, the activities done, aid in cultivate the love of Japanese language as well as developed a sense of literary appreciation.
The activities held every week was unique and wonderful learning experience for me nevertheless. From someone who does not know how to read hiragana, now I am slowly pacing over and can read few words in hiragana. I am thankful the club member as they are making my stay in Japan more memorable and full of excitement!
